Ece Solmaz Saka was born in Istanbul in 1986. She completed her secondary and high school education at Yüzyıl Işıl Schools. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Law at London South Bank University. In 2014, she received her equivalency from Istanbul University Faculty of Law.

While continuing her equivalency education at Istanbul University Faculty of Law, she simultaneously worked at Göksu Safi Işık Attorney Partnership between 2013 and 2015, specializing in the fields of obligations law, commercial law, energy law, and mergers & acquisitions.

Following her registration with the Istanbul Bar Association in 2015, Ece Solmaz Saka began working as a lawyer at İnal Law Office. During her tenure, she focused extensively on mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, infrastructure and project finance, maritime law, obligations law, and renewable energy.

In 2017, she joined Koray Holding as a legal counsel. Between 2021 and 2024, she served as Legal Director, responsible for the management and coordination of all legal affairs of the Holding and its affiliated subsidiaries. As of 2025, she has been appointed as the General Manager of Koray Real Estate Investment Company.
